Pokémon Roulette Adventure

Quick Spin: pick a random Pokémon

Filter by generation, type or evolution stage and spin once. Made for Nuzlocke drafts, randomiser challenges and settling an argument.

1025 Pokémon in the pool

Each spin draws eight candidates from your filtered pool. Spin again to reach the rest.

Roulette Pokédex

Every Pokémon the roulette has handed you on this device, from Quick Spins and adventure runs alike. Runs end; this does not.

A complete league run

Each route combines team-building events with eight escalating Gym battles, a final preparation round, the Elite Four and the Champion.

Luck with meaningful choices

Pokémon power, type advantages, X Attacks and Potions all change battle odds. Move Pokémon between the team and storage before spinning.

Transparent and reproducible

Outcome weights are always visible. A seeded random generator makes shared challenges reproducible without pretending the wheel controls the result.

Adventure wheel odds

Every wheel in the game uses weighted slices, and the weights are fixed. These are the odds for the route wheel you spin between Gym battles — the same numbers the game itself reads.

Regions, Gyms and Elite Four by generation

Each generation runs its own eight Gym Leaders, four Elite Four members and a Champion, in the order shown. Type advantage is the largest single input to the battle forecast, so this is the table to plan a team against.

Questions about the roulette

Is the wheel actually random?
Yes. Each slice has a fixed weight, listed in the odds table above, and the result is drawn from a seeded generator before the animation plays. The spin you watch is a presentation of a result that has already been decided — it never steers the outcome.
What does the run seed do?
The seed is the starting point of the random generator. The same generation and seed always produce the same sequence of wheel results, so a run can be replayed exactly. Your own choices — who you catch, who you bench, when you use an item — can still send an identical seed in a different direction.
Can I play the same run as a friend?
Yes. Share your run and the link carries the generation and seed, so whoever opens it faces the identical sequence. The daily challenge does this for everyone at once: one region and one seed per UTC day.
Does my progress save?
Every result is written to this browser's local storage, so you can close the tab and continue later on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed — which also means a different device, or clearing site data, starts fresh.
Is it free, and does it need a download?
It is free and runs entirely in the browser. There is nothing to install, no sign-up, and no in-game purchases.

The roulette draws on the same Pokédex the rest of the site is built from. These are the pages worth opening next.
