Each route combines team-building events with eight escalating Gym battles, a final preparation round, the Elite Four and the Champion.

How to evolve Pokémon in Roulette
New Adventure runs support 94 evolution lines across all nine generations: every starter and every wild, Safari or event Pokémon that evolves in the main series. Evolution is your choice and changes the Pokémon’s species and types. These are this browser game’s rules, not the evolution requirements in the main-series games.
- Earn 2 Gym badges for a first evolution and 5 for a final stage. A Pokémon caught in its middle stage, such as Pikachu or Chansey, evolves at 5.
- Between spins, open Manage team or Storage and choose Evolve on the Pokémon’s card. Each button names the next form and its types; Pokémon with branched evolutions, such as Eevee, Kirlia and Charcadet, show one button per form.
- Keep its Shiny status and training gains. Each evolution adds 1 power, up to 8, and adds the new species to your Pokédex collection.
Evolutions from later generations are available in every region. Mega Evolution, Gigantamax and regional forms are not supported. Monotype challenges block evolutions that lose the required type. Older saves and shared links retain their original rules. Quick Spin selects Pokémon; it does not evolve a team.

Adventure wheel odds
Every wheel in the game uses weighted slices, and the weights are fixed. These are the odds for the route wheel you spin between Gym battles — the same numbers the game itself reads.
In new adventures, the 10% cave event becomes Safari Zone in Kanto, Friend Safari in Kalos, Ultra Wormhole in Alola, or Area Zero in Paldea. Other regions and older saved runs keep the cave event.

Each generation runs its own eight Gym Leaders, four Elite Four members and a Champion, in the order shown. Type advantage is the largest single input to the battle forecast, so this is the table to plan a team against.

- How do I evolve Pokémon in Pokémon Roulette?
- Start a new Adventure run, earn 2 Gym badges, then choose Evolve on a team or storage card. Final stages unlock after 5 badges, so a Pokémon caught in its middle stage, such as Pikachu, evolves at 5. When a Pokémon has several evolutions, such as Eevee, Kirlia or Charcadet, each form has its own button and you choose. Each evolution adds 1 power, up to 8, and preserves Shiny status. No evolution stones, levels, trades or experience are needed. An evolution that loses the required type is blocked in a monotype challenge. Older saves and shared runs keep their original rules without evolution; Quick Spin only filters evolution stages.
- Which Pokémon can evolve in Pokémon Roulette?
- Every starter, wild catch and Safari or event Pokémon that evolves in the main-series games can evolve, in all nine regions. Evolutions added in later generations are included, so Eevee can become Sylveon and Togetic can become Togekiss in any region. The Legendary, Mythical, Ultra Beast and Paradox Pokémon in this game do not evolve. Mega Evolution, Gigantamax and regional forms are not supported.
- Is the wheel actually random?
- Yes. Each slice has a fixed weight, listed in the odds table above, and the result is drawn from a seeded generator before the animation plays. The spin you watch is a presentation of a result that has already been decided — it never steers the outcome.
- What does the run seed do?
- The seed fixes the random sequence. To reproduce an adventure, use the same generation, rules and seed, and make the same team and evolution choices in the same order. Evolution changes battle odds, so the seed alone does not guarantee the same results. Shared links preserve the rules of older adventures.
- Can I play the same run as a friend?
- Yes. Shared links include the generation, seed and game rules. Open the link and make the same choices to replay the run. The daily challenge picks one region and seed per UTC day.
- Does my progress save?
- Every result is written to this browser's local storage, so you can close the tab and continue later on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed — which also means a different device, or clearing site data, starts fresh.
- Is it free, and does it need a download?
- It is free and runs entirely in the browser. There is nothing to install, no sign-up, and no in-game purchases.
